FEB UNIDA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC EXCHANGE DAY 1 Malacca, Malaysia. July 3rd 2024.

1. International Networking
The agenda begins with international networking at the academic hall of Universiti Geomatika Malaysia Melaka. During this session, participants are having a constructive discussion, especially on the arrangement for future collaboration between institutions.
Having a preliminary discussion with Vice-Chancellor I| of Universiti Geomatika Malaysia Melaka, Prof. Dr. Abaidullah Bin Mustafa, to arrange student mobility exchange with Universitas Djuanda.

2. Visiting Lecturer
Mas Nur Mukmin, as the lecturer from the Department of Accounting, received an offer from Universiti Geomatika Malaysia Melaka to be a visiting lecturer for their diploma student in culinary. Having two class sessions for lecturing, the topic offers a self-project in accounting for the culinary student to implement accountancy in the real world, especially for the culinary business which is related to the student's major. The prepared learning material delivered well to the students including the test and evaluation. Students submitted their self-project in accounting and discussed it together to gain a comprehensive understanding of accounting equations.

3. Community Service
This is a group action from the lecturer association who participate in the international academic exchange program in engaging to strengthen the teacher's capacity of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bukit Katil, Melaka, Malaysia. The program emphasizes the teacher's capacity in terms of education, skill, and competency. This is a preliminary program of international community service at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bukit Katil, Melaka, Malaysia by gathering data and observation to identify the prioritized program to be conducted. Based on the observation and data gathering, it can be identified that teachers at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bukit Katil, Melaka, Malaysia as a state-owned senior high school need to improve their teacher's teaching skills by taking some courses or diploma for specific skills related to the learning outcomes. Moreover, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bukit Katil, Melaka, Malaysia also might improve their teacher's teaching skills by continuing to take degree studies at university. Further programs will be a seminar or focus group discussion with the teaching staff at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bukit Katil, Melaka, Malaysia to raise awareness of capacity improvement.
