Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb After studying in college, students will move on to the world of work. However, there are also many students who do not have targets and goals where they will work after graduation. So, many students who after graduating, have difficulty getting a job. This is because students do not know and do not prepare the things needed to work. In response to this, students are expected to know things such as theory and practice that actually occur in reality, for example in a company or industry. One of them is by learning directly from companies or industries related to the studies taken, so that it will provide an overview to students in the field of work in accordance with the focus of the studies they take. For the sake of realizing this goal, the Djuanda University Accounting Student Association carried out an activity that was realized, namely "Company Visit 2023" which was held on Friday, January 6, 2023. The activity aims to help increase the understanding and knowledge of Accounting Study Program students of the Faculty of Economics through theory and practice directly from companies or industries with different perspectives and know the target companies they want. This activity aims to foster student awareness to have direction and goals for their future, especially determining whether they will work in a company or become an entrepreneur. So that students will be more enthusiastic and active in undergoing lectures because they already know the goals they will take later. This series of activities at PT Amerta Indah Otsuka was accompanied by Sandra Yasmin, an alumnus of Djuanda University Bogor, who happened to be one of the staff of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka. In this activity students were treated to video animations about the production process of making products, tools, materials and also the history of the Otsuka Group and PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka itself, the Otsuka Group was founded in 1921 which was founded by Busaburo Otsuka in Japan, then this company entered Indonesia in 1989, the establishment of PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka was in 1997 where this company has 5 main products, namely Pocari Sweat, Ion Water, Oronamin C, Mini Fibe and Soy Joy, but this company also continues to grow and strive to create new products. Students also went down directly to see the factory starting from making bottles or packaging, then the storage of ingredients, the process of making products, etc. After that, it ended with playing games, PT Amerta Indah Otsuka also gave several gifts and prizes. According to Ade Saputra as the chief executive of this activity, it is very good, exciting and adds new knowledge and insights into the world of work, hopefully this activity will benefit all students participating in the company visit.
