Bogor, July 23, 2026 – The Management Student Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Djuanda University successfully hosted a Debate Competition as part of the Djuanda Management Competition (DMC) 2026. The competition, themed “Youth Self-Reliance, Economic Independence: Strengthening National Resilience Toward Golden Indonesia 2045,” was participated in by 12 teams of high school and vocational school students from various regions across Indonesia.

The event began with participant registration and a technical briefing on the competition by the organizing committee. Next, participants competed in the preliminary round using the Asian Parliamentary system, followed by the semifinals and the grand final to determine the best team. Throughout the competition, each team presented arguments, rebuttals, and solutions based on the motion under debate. Judging was conducted by a panel of judges based on the quality of the arguments, delivery, analysis, and strategy during the debate.

Based on the judges’ evaluation, the TRICORE team from SMAN 3 Bogor won first place, the TRINITY team from SMAN 3 Bogor took second place, and the SKIELLER team from SMKN 1 Gunungputri took third place. These achievements were the result of the participants’ ability to construct logical arguments, think critically, and present solutions systematically throughout each stage of the competition.

Through this competition, participants are expected to develop their critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as the courage to present solutions to various national economic issues. The DMC 2026 Debate Competition serves as a platform for the younger generation to hone their intellectual potential and prepare themselves to become innovative, competitive, and capable leaders on the path toward Indonesia Emas 2045.

The entire series of events concluded with a group photo session as a token of appreciation for the hard work of all participants, the panel of judges, and the organizing committee, whose efforts ensured the success of the 2026 Djuanda Management Competition (DMC) Debate Competition.
