The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Djuanda University organized the annual Djuanda Management Competition (DMC) through the Management Student Association (HMM). The two-day DMC 2025 conference carried the theme “Gen Z Driving Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Toward Indonesia's Golden Era 2045." The event provided a forum for students to develop their potential, creativity, and critical thinking skills in the face of today's digital economy challenges.
The series of activities officially began on Monday, June 23, 2025, with a grand opening ceremony at Djuanda University. The event began with a recitation of holy verses from the Quran, followed by the singing of the Indonesia Raya song and the Djuanda University hymn.
On this occasion, Muhammad Ikbal Riyadi, the Chief Executive of DMC 2025, expressed his appreciation to all those who supported the implementation of this event. Iman Maulana, the chairperson of HMM, also expressed his hope that DMC would become a productive space where students could hone their skills and expand their networks.
In her speech, the Chairperson of the Management Study Program, Tini Kartini, SE, MH, MM, emphasized the importance of DMC in building superior student character, both academically and in terms of leadership, strategic thinking, and digital innovation.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Sri Harini, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, officially opened the event. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of activities such as DMC in fostering students' competitive and innovative spirits in the digital era.
The first day of DMC 2025 ended with a talk show. The first speaker was Marcello Georgian, S.Ds., M.M., the CEO of PT Rekayasa Ekonomi Kreatif Adikara. He presented material themed "The Role of Students as Drivers of Digital Economic Transformation Towards an Inclusive and Sustainable Future." He emphasized the importance of technological innovation that remains grounded in local cultural values.
The next speaker was Zulfat S.M., founder of Susu Sehat, who spoke on the topic, "Gen Z Entrepreneur: From Idea to Action, From Dream to Proof." During his presentation, he encouraged students to take creative ideas and turn them into real actions. "Silence does not produce anything. Moving and innovating are the keys to overcoming current economic challenges," he said.
The talk show inspired and provided strategic insights to the participants, encouraging them to become the driving force of an inclusive, sustainable digital economy.
The first day ended with a prayer and a technical meeting for the participants of the debate competition, which took place on the second day alongside the Marketing Plan Competition.
Through the implementation of DMC 2025, FEB Universitas Djuanda hopes to produce a resilient, adaptive, and innovative young generation that will play an active role in realizing the vision of a Golden Indonesia in 2045.
