Faculty of Economics KKN Students Provide Assistance for the Empowerment of New Angkringan Businesses in Pasir Jambu Village, Sukaraja District

In an effort to encourage the empowerment of micro-enterprises and traditional culinary, KKN students from the Faculty of Economics enthusiastically participated in a mentoring program for new angkringan businesses in Pasir Jambu Village. This program was launched as part of the social mission carried out by KKN students to have a positive impact on society and the local economy. (30/7/2023) As one of Indonesia's traditional culinary forms, angkringan has great potential to improve the village economy and become a tourism magnet. However, new angkringan business owners often face various challenges, including in terms of business management, product quality, and marketing strategies. In this KKN program, Group 2 students from the Faculty of Economics provide assistance to new angkringan business owners with various focuses, including: Business Management Assistance, Product Quality Improvement, Marketing Strategy Development and Menu Innovation Based on Local WisdomThis mentoring program is a form of real contribution from KKN Group 2 Faculty of Economics students in helping empower the local economy and strengthen the traditional culinary sector. Through this program, it is expected to provide added value to the new angkringan business in Pasir Jambu Village. "We feel lucky and grateful for this opportunity. As new angkringan owners in Pasir Jambu Village, we realize how important it is to have the right support and guidance in managing our business. After hearing that the KKN students will help us in developing our business, our hearts are filled with hope and enthusiasm." Said Mr. Basor, the owner of Angkringan.
