A total of 20 groups of students from the Real Work Lecture (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) program at the Faculty of Economics (FE) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) officially concluded the symbolic closing of their KKN activities by releasing yellow balloons, which symbolize the FE UNIDA color. The KKN closing event was presided over by Prof. Dr. Suhaidi, SH., MH., the Rector of Djuanda University, and attended by Vice Rector 1 Aal Lukmanul Hakim, SH., MH., Dean of the Faculty of Economics Dr. Sri Harini, Dra., M.Si, along with the university's structural officials, faculty members, and educational staff on Saturday (10/09/2022) at the 1st floor of Building E. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics expressed that the closure of the 2022 KKN involving Accounting and Management program students also served as an exhibition of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM) products nurtured by FE UNIDA. This activity marked the culmination of the KKN program that had been conducted over the past 2 months, starting from the development of work programs to the students' deployment. Around 200 students from the Faculty of Economics were engaged in this KKN, divided into 20 groups guided by 10 field supervising lecturers, collaborating with 40 UMKM partners scattered across both the district and the city. "Thanks to Allah, the event went smoothly. Hopefully, the knowledge acquired has been implemented by the students and proven beneficial. This KKN activity was carried out by students as part of the UMKM development, involving various trainings such as digital marketing and basic financial recording. UNIDA has gained a good reputation nationally and regionally; we should be proud of that and continuously strive to enhance it. It is expected that this activity will improve the sustainability performance of UMKM, not only in name but also in reaching the community. Through this KKN, we aim to manifest UNIDA as a blessing to all," expressed the Dean of the Faculty of Economics. The Rector of Djuanda University viewed this KKN as an intracurricular activity, one of the elements of the university's three pillars, which is community service. "I have heard that these student siblings have succeeded in executing the activities instilled by the faculty, resulting in the KKN achieving the intended goals. Thank God, from the rectorate and the faculty deanery, we extend our gratitude to the students who have successfully carried out their KKN activities in their respective places. Welcome back to the university. Apart from sharing knowledge with UMKM, the students also experience the benefits of building relationships and putting theory into practice in the field," concluded the Rector. The event continued with an exhibition featuring various UMKM products. Each student group presented the products they had developed during their KKN to the UNIDA community present at the exhibition.
