After previously holding a National Webinar, the series of Gebyar Akuntansi 2022 activities organized by the Accounting Student Association (HIMAKSI) Faculty of Economics (FE) Djuanda University (UNIDA) continued with a competition attended by high school participants throughout the Greater Bogor area and national level students, Tuesday (20/12/2022). The competition was held in the Hall of Building C, UNIDA Campus, attended by UNIDA Vice Rector II Dr. Hj Endeh Suhartini, S.H., M.H who represented the Rector to officially open the event. In her speech, Dr. Hj Endeh Suhartini, S.H., M.H said that the Accounting Gebyar activity is one of the positive activities in order to form a smart young generation with character. Through activities like this, Dr. Hj Endeh Suhartini, S.H., M.H hopes that young people can learn more deeply, expand their horizons of knowledge to meet the future. "Because good young people will have a bright future. Fill your time well, with positive activities, which are useful for organizing the future from now on," he said. At the end, Dr. Hj Endeh Suhartini, S.H., M.H conveyed a rhyme containing a message to young people to be able to study diligently and be able to fill their time through positive activities in order to become a generation that advances and makes the nation proud. "Send letters with words, to a thousand islands by canoe, on our beloved campus, Djuanda University, let's learn for the future," he concluded. On the same occasion, Chief Executive of the event, Kartika Dwi Ashari said that Gebyar Akuntansi is one of the routine activities held annually by HIMAKSI UNIDA. This activity aims to be a trigger for high school students and students to be interested and know more about accounting. Kartika Dwi Ashari revealed, the series of activities was preceded by a webinar by presenting expert speakers which was held some time ago, then continued with competition activities today. "For this event there are 2 activities, first a national webinar that has been held previously. Then second, the peak today is a series of competitions, including accounting cycle competitions and quiz competitions for high school level participants. Then speech competitions and essay competitions for the national student level, "he said. Meanwhile, Indra Cahya Kusuma, SE, M.Si as Head of the Accounting Study Program of FE UNIDA said that in this case FE UNIDA fully supports the implementation of positive activities that can improve knowledge and skills, especially related to science in the field of economics. "We would like to thank all of you who have come to our campus at Djuanda University for this Gebyar Akuntansi event. We hope that the first thing is to be able to add scientific insights in the field of accounting for younger students and students. Secondly, of course we hope that through this event a relationship can be established between the participants and FE UNIDA. Hopefully this activity will run orderly, safely and smoothly in accordance with what we expect together, "he said.
