In the spirit of community service on Saturday, July 19, 2025, students from Group 1 of the Community Service Program (PkM) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Djuanda University, were officially sent off and received by the village of Cijayanti. The program formerly known as Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is now called PkM, which focuses more on structured community service activities. The farewell and welcoming ceremony was attended by Mr. Palahudin, SE., ME as Field Supervisor (DPL), Mr. H. Ahmad Paojan, S.KEP as Head of Cijayanti Village, and Mr. Yanto as representative from the village.
During the event, Mr. Palahudin, SE., ME, as DPL, expressed his gratitude to Cijayanti Village for accepting the PkM Group 1 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Djuanda University. He also entrusted PkM participants to carry out community service activities aimed at empowering MSMEs in the Cijayanti area. In line with the theme of PkM “Strong MSMEs, Great Villages: Enhancing the Competitiveness of Local Products Towards a Resilient Indonesia with Digital Competitiveness,” which aims to innovate based on local wisdom to maximize local potential while preserving local culture, but also modernizing it. Therefore, after the implementation of the PkM program, it is hoped that it will have a positive impact on MSMEs and the community in Cijayanti Village.
The Head of Cijayanti Village expressed his gratitude for the presence of PkM students in Cijayanti Village. “We appreciate the arrival of PkM students and we hope that their presence will have a positive impact on Cijayanti Village,” said Mr. H. Ahmad Paojan, S.KEP. The farewell and welcoming ceremony for PkM group 1 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Djuanda University, concluded with a photo session involving PkM students, field supervisors (DPL), and village officials. Over the next month, PkM students will be involved in various community activities and MSME development.
With a spirit of dedication, PKM Group 1 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Djuanda University are ready to begin their service journey in Cijayanti Village. The collaboration between students, DPL, and village officials is expected to produce innovations based on local wisdom that strengthen MSMEs and bring tangible benefits to the local community.
