Babakan Madang, July 27, 2025 Community Service (PKM) 02 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) collaborated with residents of RT 01 and RW 01 administrators of Babakan Madang Village to carry out a joint effort to clean up the Banceuy Public Cemetery located in the RW 01 area. This activity is a form of community concern to create a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment through routine community service scheduled once a week.

This community service event was attended by the Head of RW 01, Deputy Head of RW 01, Head of RT 01, RT 01 officials, and PKM 02 FEB students. The presence of the administrators and residents was clear evidence of their spirit of togetherness in caring for public facilities, especially the cemetery area, which is often overlooked in everyday life. Together, participants cleaned the cemetery area by cutting weeds, picking up trash, and tidying up the pilgrims' paths so that the cemetery remains well-maintained and comfortable for visitors.

In response to this activity, the head of RW 01, Mrs. Suryani Nur, said that this mutual cooperation is expected to maintain the comfort of residents who are on pilgrimage. “The purpose of cleaning the cemetery area is to maintain its cleanliness so that it is comfortable for people to visit and the cemetery area does not look gloomy,” he said.

To conclude the event, participants held a joint documentation session to commemorate their togetherness and commitment to maintaining the cleanliness of the cemetery on a regular basis. It is hoped that this kind of mutual cooperation can strengthen the relationship between PKM 02 FEB students and RW 01 residents, while also serving as a concrete example of environmental awareness in Babakan Madang Village.
