On Monday, July 21, 2025, a ceremony was held to hand over and receive students participating in community service from the Management and Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, in Kadumanggu Village, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency.
The event was officially opened and continued with a speech from the Field Supervisor (DPL), Mr. Ayi Jamaludin Aziz, SE., M.Ak. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the Head of Kadumanggu Village for the warm welcome given to the students. He also introduced the students from the Management and Accounting Study Program who will carry out community service activities in the village.
This community service program focuses on financial literacy and entrepreneurship, aimed at supporting the capacity building of MSME actors in Kadumanggu Village. Activities will be tailored to the needs of the local community, with the hope of making a positive contribution to improving the knowledge and skills of residents. At the end of his speech, he once again expressed his gratitude and entrusted the students to the village government to be guided during the implementation of the program.
The next speech was delivered by the Head of Kadumanggu Village, Mr. Mulyadi Anwar, S.Ap. He welcomed the students and introduced the conditions of Kadumanggu Village, which consists of 24 RTs, 6 RWs, and 3 hamlets. He explained that Hamlet 3 is an area that is active in MSME activities, especially those based on tapioca. Meanwhile, the majority of residents in other hamlets work as employees.
The event concluded with a prayer and a joint documentation session, marking the official commencement of the students' community service activities.
This activity is expected to benefit the community of Kadumanggu Village while also serving as a means of hands-on learning for students in applying the knowledge they have acquired during their studies.
