The Real Contribution of PKM 02 FEB Participates in Monitoring and Evaluation of Posyandu and PKK Administration at the Sub-district Level in Babakan Madang Village

Last Updated: 10 months ago

Babakan Madang, July 31, 2025 - Community Service (PKM) 02 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) participated in the Monitoring and Evaluation of Posyandu and PKK Administration at the sub-district level, which was held in Babakan Madang Village. This event was attended by the Head of Babakan Madang Village, the PKK Activation Team, PKM students, the Assessment Team from Babakan Madang Subdistrict, and Posyandu cadres.

Through this participation, PKM students play a role in supporting the strengthening of the functions of PKK and Posyandu in the community. The presence of students provides additional support for cadres in carrying out their duties in the field. This monitoring activity also serves as a joint means of evaluating the performance of cadres and formulating improvement measures so that Posyandu services are more optimal and targeted.

The Assessment Team from Babakan Madang Subdistrict highlighted the importance of improving the capacity of PKK cadres and Posyandu. We hope that the women cadres, both from the PKK and Posyandu, can continue to learn and participate in training. Because basic things, such as the meaning of Posyandu itself, are still not well understood. In fact, their role is very important in maintaining public health, especially for toddlers, the elderly, and teenagers," said a representative of the Assessment Team. In addition, the organizational structure in the field is also a concern. "We see that there are still many cases of dual positions One person can hold several roles at once, so it seems that only a handful of people are active. In fact, the role of cadres is collective.

On the same occasion, the Head of Babakan Madang Village, Mr. Ir. Deni Nugraha, emphasized the need for cadres to be active in educating residents. “Cadres need to be encouraged to be more active in educating residents. For example, about parenting, how to keep the elderly healthy, and efforts to grow vegetables in the yard to support family nutrition,” he said.

With this activity, it is hoped that collaboration between the village government, the PKK team, Posyandu cadres, and PKM students can support each other in improving the quality of public health services in Babakan Madang Village. PKM students are also expected to play a role in supporting community empowerment through assistance with sustainable community programs.
