Kadumanggu, July 28, 2025 – Students from the Community Service Program (KKN) at Djuanda University began their community service activities at the Garuda Early Childhood Education Center, located at KP. Leuwi Jambe RT 03 RW 03, Kadumanggu Village, Babakan Madang Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, with a series of enthusiastic educational and interactive activities with the children.
The first day began with an opening ceremony with teachers and children, followed by an introduction session for KKN students. The children welcomed the students with enthusiasm and curiosity.
After the introduction, learning activities began gradually. The children were invited to read the Iqro’, then continued with reading picture storybooks, and simple writing according to their age level. This activity is designed to foster a spirit of literacy from an early age.
After studying, the children are given time to take a short break, play, and socialize with their friends. The activity ends with congregational Dhuha prayer, as a form of early religious habit formation. “We are very happy to be directly involved in the learning process of the children at PAUD Garuda. They are active, cheerful, and quick to respond,” said one of the students participating in the KKN program.
This first day marked the beginning of Djuanda University students' journey in contributing to early childhood education in Kadumanggu Village. It is hoped that this collaboration will enrich the children's learning experience and strengthen the relationship between students and the community.
