Gunung Endut, Thursday, August 1, 2024 — The Community Service Team (PkM) students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Djuanda University collaborated with Karang Taruna to organize management and organizational science socialization activities at the MA Darul Ahkam Hall in Gunung Endut Village, Kalapanunggal District, Sukabumi Regency. This activity is part of the PkM team's program for implementing the five dharmas of higher education, one of which is community service.
This socialization event was attended by MA Darul Ahkam students, MTS Darul Ahkam student council board, Madrasah head, teachers, and staff. Additionally, the PkM Team partnered with the Gunung Endut Village Youth Organization to share organizational materials relevant to the local community.
Students from the PkM Team also took advantage of this opportunity to promote Djuanda University. The PkM team students distributed brochures to the MA Darul Ahkam students, conveying information about the campus profile, faculty, study programs, facilities, scholarship programs, student organizations, and student activity units.
Luqman Hakim and Siti Shabila Wenintias, students in the Management Studies Program, hosted the event. The activity began with a recitation of the Holy Qur'an by student representatives and Student Council officers from MA Darul Ahkam. Zaini Rahmat Hidayat led the recitation. Then, the Head of Madrasah MA Darul Ahkam, Mrs. Hj. Endeh Nurhasanah, S.Sos.I., M.Pd.I., and the Head of the PkM Group, Muhammad Akhsan.
The first session of the core socialization activities began with a presentation on management science by PkM team student Delia Luthfiany. Next, Muhammad Akhsan presented on the importance of implementing management in organizations as an introduction to the material presented by the Youth Organization. The PkM team students also conducted promotions and distributed brochures to the MA and MTS Darul Ahkam students on this occasion. Then, Mr. Indra, a representative of the Youth Organization of Gunung Endut Village, presented the third material on the importance of implementing management in the Youth Organization.
This activity demonstrates the commitment of the students in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Djuanda University to applying their knowledge to better society and strengthen relationships with their surroundings.
