Tuesday (January 27, 2026) Lecturers and students from the Faculty of Economics and Business visited the MARA Malaysia Food Technology Incubator. Located in the KIP Industrial Park, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory. The visit was welcomed by INTEM management. The Djuanda University delegation was given an in-depth presentation on INTEM's profile as a business incubation institution under the People's Trust Council (MARA), which is tasked with producing strong entrepreneurs in the field of food technology. Participants were taken on a tour to see the production facilities, production processes, and product outlets in each production line unit. The production facilities visited included the Research and Development laboratory, the Food Processing Room based on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and the Modern Packaging facility. In essence, through a professionally managed business incubator, high-quality and export-worthy products will be produced. This was explained by Muhamad Ilyas, one of the Quality Control staff. Students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Djuanda University observed the production and packaging processes firsthand by actively participating in practical exercises together, thereby fostering creative ideas and innovations in transforming small and medium-sized businesses into industrialized enterprises. This provides internship opportunities for students and expands access to product marketing networks for students in Malaysia.
