FEB Delegation from Djuanda University Visits MARA Food Technology Incubator Center Recommended by PERDASAMA Malaysia

[Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia – August 27, 2025] – A delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Djuanda University, represented by Mr. Saepul Anwar, S.Ak., M.Ak, participated alongside the ASEANACA delegation from various universities in Indonesia in an official visit to the MARA Anjuran PERDASAMA Malaysia Food Technology Incubator Center as part of the International Tridharma Visit series. This initiative aims to strengthen international networks, expand cooperation, and explore collaboration opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship development and business innovation between countries, particularly Indonesia and Malaysia.

During this visit, the delegation was welcomed directly by the leadership of the MARA Anjuran PERDASAMA Malaysia Food Technology Incubator Center. The event began with a welcoming speech from a representative of PERDASAMA Malaysia, delivered by Datuk Dr. Ibrahim Bin Yahya as president, in which he said that Perdasama is an institution similar to Kadin in Indonesia, which has 14 branches throughout Malaysia that are open to cooperation in trade and business and do not close opportunities for internship programs for students from Indonesia. Meanwhile, the ASEANACA delegation was represented by Prof. Dr. Tulus Suryanto, M.M., Akt., CA., CMA., CFA., PIA., Asean CPA, who in his speech said that ASEANACA, as a forum for academics in the ASEAN region, is open to cooperation, including with business institutions or organizations such as PERDASAMA, because one of the elements of this academic forum is community service or international community service. Additionally, there are Student Mobility and Internship programs for students in Indonesia that can be utilized by PERDASAMA or business units and companies in Malaysia.

Following the opening remarks, the session continued with discussions and presentations by several institutions and business corporations affiliated with PERDASAMA, concluding with a question and answer session. In addition, the ASEANACA delegation participants also had the opportunity to directly observe the incubator facilities, collaborative workspaces (co-working spaces), and startup units under the guidance of the main council of INTEM, which is currently developing under the auspices of the MARA Food Technology Incubator Center, as recommended by PERDASAMA Malaysia.

Also present were delegates from other Djuanda University faculties participating in this event, namely representatives from several faculties at Djuanda University: Prof. Dr. Ir. Anggraeni, M.Si. – Animal Science Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Asep Thobibuddin Qolyubi, S.H., M.H. – Law Program, Faculty of Law, Nadia Amalia, S.Kom., M.AP. – Communication Science Program, Faculty of Social and Communication Sciences, and Arti Hastuti, S.T.P., M.T.P. – Food Technology Program, Faculty of Halal Food Sciences.

This activity is an important moment for the Faculty of Economics and Business, Djuanda University, in strengthening bilateral relations between universities affiliated with ASEANACA and partners in Malaysia, particularly the business industry within the scope of PERDASAMA, as well as reaffirming a shared commitment to supporting the development of creative economy, entrepreneurship, and innovation at the regional and global levels.
